Crispy baked chicken strips

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time:  10–12 minutes


2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

1 egg

10ml oil

2 cups breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1⁄4 teaspoon  salt

1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper

1⁄4teaspoon chili powder


  1. In a medium bowl add bread crumbs, black pepper, salt, chilli powder. Combine all ingredients well
  2. In separate bowl whisk one egg
  3. Spread aluminum foil on baking tray
  4. Take chicken strip dip into egg first then into bread crumbs.
  5. Pour little oil on top of strips randomly
  6. Bake at 160C for 10-12 minutes, serve hot with tomato ketchup
