Strawberry Crinkle cookies

Cooking Time:  10–12 minutes



3cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

8tablespoon unsalted butter

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups granulated sugar, plus ¼ cup for rolling

2 large eggs

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

¾ cup strawberry puree

2drops red food coloring

½ cup Icing sugar


  1. In the bowl beat butter and Sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the salt and eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract ,food color and strawberry puree. Beat this mixture well. In a medium bowl, mix the flour and baking powder add this flour mixture in the batter now. Mix well and Refrigerate the dough for  4 hours
  2. Spread the baking paper over the baking tray. Roll small balls portion into sugar then in icing sugar until well coated
  3. Place these balls,lightly press from top on baking tray, about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake at 180C for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until edges are firm but not brown.
  5. Let cool, and enjoy.
